Question 1

How does Suspense Club make money?

Accepted Answer

Suspense Club only earns money through ads and when authors succeed. We do not charge writers to publish and we do not sell expensive courses. If a story proves itself with real readers and later moves into publishing, pre-sales, or screen adaptations, Suspense Club may earn a small share. That keeps our incentives aligned with writers and readers, not volume, hype, or algorithms.

Question 2

Is Suspense Club free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Suspense Club is free for both readers and writers. You do not need a credit card to join, read stories, give feedback, or participate in the community.

Question 3

What does it mean that the first 1,000 readers get an ad-free account for life?

Accepted Answer

The first 1,000 readers who sign up receive a lifetime ad-free account. That means no ads, ever. This is our way of rewarding early supporters who help build the community from the ground up.

Question 4

What happens after the first 1,000 readers?

Accepted Answer

After the first 1,000 lifetime ad-free accounts are claimed, new readers will still be able to use Suspense Club for free with ads. We will also offer an optional VIP account for readers who prefer an ad-free experience. The price will be low and accessible, and it will always be optional.

Question 5

Is Suspense Club a subscription service?

Accepted Answer

No. Suspense Club is not a subscription platform. You are not locked into monthly payments and you will never be required to pay to participate. No credit card is required to join or use the platform.

Question 6

Is there a referral program?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For every two people you invite who sign up, you will receive one free month of VIP access with no ads. It's our way of rewarding readers who help grow the community and champion great stories.

Question 7

How are stories selected?

Accepted Answer

Every story on Suspense Club is curated by humans, not algorithms or AI. Writers apply, workshop their ideas, and develop strong story hooks before publishing. This protects readers from low-quality uploads and protects writers by placing their work in a serious, engaged environment.

Question 8

Can writers later publish their stories on Amazon?

Accepted Answer

Yes. That is the entire point. Once a writer builds an audience on Suspense Club and reaches 10,000 followers, they are encouraged to publish on Amazon. Launching with 10,000 engaged readers behind you dramatically increases your chances of success, reviews, and visibility.

Question 9

Can Suspense Club help writers get publishing or film deals?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Stories that prove themselves with readers create real validation. That validation can lead to publishing interest, pre-sales, and film or TV opportunities. Success unlocks the next step. Nothing is promised, everything is earned.

Question 10

How can I contact the founder?

Accepted Answer

Thomas Mai is the founder of Suspense Club. You can contact him directly at thomas (at) suspenseclub dot com.
